CPCU Florida Gold Coast Meeting - 9/29 @ Noon

Please mark your calendars to join us virtually for our Fall Florida Gold Coast meeting.  This meeting is taking place on September 29^th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET. 

We are pleased to announce that our very own chapter member, Brent Winans, CPCU, ARM will share a special presentation. As a licensed insurance agent and Vice President of Clear Advantage Risk Management in Delray Beach, Brent offers risk management consulting services to larger clients and has served as an expert witness on both sides for over 130 agent E&O cases in 15 states.

Brent’s presentation will include a real-life example where it was alleged that the agent and his agency had breached the standard of care in the placement of business income/extra expense insurance. The ramifications of the agent’s failure were disastrous, and the agency lost its client, and its reputation was damaged in the region. Brent will clarify complex business income/extra expense insurance issues and provide pointers to use to avoid the same mistakes.
